A new study shows that smoking cessation drug stickers, nicotine gum and smoking cessation drug may not be as worried as people had heart damage, their human health benefits outweigh the potential risks.
In recent years, several studies have questioned the smoking cessation drug labels, safety and effectiveness of nicotine gum and smoking cessation drugs. In 2011, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has said that smoking cessation drug “Champix” would increase the risk of heart attack patients with cardiovascular disease.
Assistant Professor, Stanford University Edward Mills, who do this survey involving 30,000 people in 63 clinical trials of smoking cessation products, in order to study smoking cessation drug labels, nicotine gum, and the side effects of Champix smoking cessation bupropion and other drugs.
The researchers said they did not find evidence to prove that smoking cessation products will increase heart attack, stroke and death due to heart disease risk. Overall, smokers improved cardiovascular health, improved quality of life, life expectancy, and smoking-related medical costs declined.
But the study also showed that smoking cessation drugs and nicotine gum paste will indeed lead to the user in a short time or irregular heartbeat, but most occur in the still smoking cessation products among users, and for some time after this abnormal heartbeat the symptoms will disappear.
Mills said in a statement: “There is no doubt that the benefits of smoking cessation outweighs any potential health risks caused by smoking cessation therapy.” Prevalence and Risk Factors for itself using the smoking cessation products are concerned, they may be faced different, so before using smoking cessation products, they’d better consult a doctor.
